Today marks the third anniversary
of their mother's death.
The trio of sisters
remembers it all,
only not with grieving and sadness,
but with joy and laughter
as the memories flood in,
and their mother's beloved words
consume their souls.

"I love you with all of my heart,"
echos through their minds,
and a peaceful presence
overtakes them one by one.
With each passing day,
the bonding between the sisters
has tightened its grip
which no man can shake,
and this outpouring of love

they have for each other
has kept them together.
They are each other's anchor,
never to drift apart,
for this is
the greatest gift
that God can provide --
their gift of love
they have for each other.
